Welcome to the Youth and Mini Section here at Bournemouth RFC and, if you’re new to the game … welcome to the sport of Rugby Union. Our aim in the 'Mini/Midi and Youth' section of BRFC is to encourage children from 6 to 16 to enjoy an active, outdoor sport with the emphasis on safety, fun, sportsmanship and the development of skills. If, after all that, we can win a few matches then great – in fact, we've been extremely successful ‘on the pitch’ over the past few years, across all the age groups; a record we look forward to maintaining in the future. We meet at Bournemouth Sports Club (Chapel Gate near Hurn Airport) at 10am each Sunday morning throughout the season - from the first Sunday in September through to the end of April - regardless of the weather (excepting severe frost or waterlogged pitches). The older age groups also train midweek under floodlights: under-13 to under-16 on Wednesdays at 6:30pm. |

| BEACH TAG RUGBY Sat 30-Sept 10am onwards |
"Following on from the hugely successful O2 Scrum on the Beach in Bournemouth earlier this summer, there will be another chance to take part in beach rugby in Dorset this year when the RFU hold the Poole Beach Rugby Festival on 30 August. This will be a tag rugby festival for players of all ages, abilities & gender. Location: Branksome Dene Chine beach, Poole." Anyone interested contact Salvatore Ponzio. | GIRLS U15 & U18 TRAINING | Pre-season coaching has now started and is taking place at Boscombe pier on Wednesday evenings at 6.30 pm. Normal coaching will start at the club on Wednesday 3rd September as well as the normal Sunday 1-3 pm sessions. Anyone wishing to join, please come along. |
