Welcome to the Youth and Mini Section here at Bournemouth RFC and, if you’re new to the game … welcome to the sport of Rugby Union. Our aim in the 'Mini/Midi and Youth' section of BRFC is to encourage children from 6 to 16 to enjoy an active, outdoor sport with the emphasis on safety, fun, sportsmanship and the development of skills. If, after all that, we can win a few matches then great – in fact, we've been extremely successful ‘on the pitch’ over the past few years, across all the age groups; a record we look forward to maintaining in the future. We meet at Bournemouth Sports Club (Chapel Gate near Hurn Airport) at 10am each Sunday morning throughout the season - from the first Sunday in September through to the end of April - regardless of the weather (excepting severe frost or waterlogged pitches). The older age groups also train midweek under floodlights: under-13 to under-15 on Wednesdays at 6:30: under-16s Tuesdays at 6:30. Preparations are now well under way for the 07/08 season: more information can be found throughout this website using the links in the drop-downs to the left of this page.
